Final Game Project Proposal

Genre: Educational game for kindergarten student

Education is essential and every children have the right to get proper education from a young age. When children are old enough to be in the kindergarten, they need basic, simple, and fundamental skills such as learning the alphabet, able to differentiate shapes and colors, and learning numbers and basic mathematics equation (Addition and Subtraction). And then, both me and my partner think that learning could be boring and tiring and we think that they could learn better if they found learning is fun.

And because of that reason, both me and my partner decided that we will make a game where children on their kindergarten age are able to learn basic skill while still having fun and encourage them to keep on learning. The game that we are working on is called “LearningIsFun” and in the main menu, there will be 2 main things, the “Learn” section where they can learn and understand about alphabet, numbers, also shapes and colors and the “Play” section where they can sharpen up their skill in various simple and easy games.

Here is one of the rough sketch/idea for “Play” section of Colors.

What we are trying to achieve with this game is to encourage them to keep on learning and to show them that learning is not always hard, boring, and gloomy, they can also be fun.
